All children will qualify for 15 hours grant the term after they are 3. You may be entitled to an additional 15 hours, but will need to apply via HMRC to see if you are eligible. If you qualify you will be issued a code. Some 2 year olds may receive 15 hours a week funding. They need to apply to the local authority to see if they are eligible.

Your child may qualify for 9mth - 3 year old funding.  To see if you are eligible you will need to apply for a code from HMRC.  Your child must be 9 months or over by the following term.  We have to claim stretched funding, this equates to 21.92 hours per week for 30 hours funding and 10.96 hours for 15 hours funding a week.   The Government funding does not cover the cost of meals, snacks,  and additional hours.  Meals and snacks are charged at £7.50 a day. These are a voluntary contribution when accessing funded hours and we encourage families to support these contributions to ensure high quality care and curriculum for the children.
